KUÉLAP - GOCTA  ­ KARAJIA WATERFALL , QUIOCTA CAVERN CIRCUITS

3 DAYS /2 NIGHTS PROGRAM

The present touristy circuits are beautiful, because along the tour you will appreciate the Utcubamba River Valley and a large variety of canyons and many classes of flora and fauna of rainforest edge.

DAY 1

CHACHAPOYAS MACRO-KUELAP (full day)

Departure from the Hostel. Transfer to kuelap, we will make to stops in our way, the first to match a Llacta (macro) 15  to 20 minutes , the second to pick up the lunch from a local restaurant. Arrive to Kuelap trekking of 15 minutes towards the fortress, visit to Kuelap it will take approximately 3 hours, a tour return we will enjoy our lunch, subsequently we will arrive to Chachapoyas at 6 p.m.

DAY 2

CHACHAPOYAS GOCTA WATERFALL (full day)

The departure will be very early towards Cocachimba town, where we have the breakfast, at 8:00a.m.we will continue our journey towards the waterfalls, the trekking will take approximately 5 hours along the tour you will observe a large variety of birds and orchids, the lunch takes place upon our return to the cabin located in the mountains where the tourist will feel the real contact with nature
If the tourist requires a horse for the trekking towards the waterfalls, it is easily booked at the town.

DAY 3

CHACHAPOYAS SARCÓFAGOS DE KARAJIAAND QIOCTA CAVERN (full day)

Departure towards Luya town where we have breakfast in a restaurant of the area, subsequently and continuing our tour we will make a visit to Quiocta cavern, the visit takes 3 hours approximately, later we will return to Luya to have lunch and subsequently we will depart towards Cruzpata Town to visit the karajia sarcophagus (purumachos) the stroll and visit takes approximately 2 hours.

OPTIONAL (ONE MORE DAY)

KARAJIA SARCOPHAGUS – DEADS TOWN (full day)

Departure towards Luya, we will have breakfast in a restaurant of the area, we will continue with a trekking of hours roundtrip towards The deads town, later we will start the stroll towards Cruzpata to visit the Karajia Sarcophagus (purumachos) the stroll and visit takes approximately 2 hours.

OPTIONAL (ONE MORE DAY)

LEYMEBAMBA MUMMY MUSEUM  AND REVASH MAUSOLEUM

Departure from Chachapoyas at 8 a.m. towards Yerbabuena from there we will start a stroll up of 1hour and a half Hill reach Revash and the return will take 45 minutes, later we will travel towards Leymebamba, lunch in the town and later we will continue towards the museum to match the 219 mummies that were found at Condors Lagoon and more than 3000 onjects of Chacha-inca and Spanish culture. Return to Chachapoyas.
