Climbing Urus

1 Day. Lima – Huaraz

Reception in Huaraz: PERU BERGSPORT personnel will be waiting for the passengers in the bus station, and then transfer to the passengers to the selected Hotel, and briefing for the programs.
3850 masl. Well early in the morning after the breakfast in the Hotel, the passengers will aboard the private bus, and we’ll take the north side high way until Yungay 2500 masl, of course making photo stops in the best places that the drivers already know or the passengers will ask from Yungay we’ll start to climb to Llanganuco Valley, appreciating the biggest mountain in Peru Huascaran, each time as we climb we’ll be near to Huascaran 6768 masl. Once we have arrived to Llanganuco lake, we will have walk round the lake and we will go to the end of the valley, after it we have to come back to Yungay to continue to Caraz 2290 masl 15 km north side, where we will have lunch, Caraz is the last town in the Callejón de Huaylas, and from here we will come back to Huaraz direct to our Hotel.

3 Day. Huaraz – Collon – Base Camp Ishinka Valley

Transfer to the trail head Collon in private bus, Collon 3600masl aprox, where we will meet the donkey drivers, then we will go hiking along the Ishinka Valley, where there is the National Park’s control, then after to check in we will have lunch, then we will continue walking arriving to the base camp of Ishinka around 4 pm, overnight at 4200masl camping.

4 Day. Base Camp – Summit – Base Camp

After breakfast at 4am we will start climbing, and we will get the glacier after 3 hours hiking up, then start climbing the glacier for about 2 hours to get the summit, then come back to the base camp for about 3 hours, overnight at 4200masl camping.

5 Day. Base Camp – Collon – Huaraz

Start walking down hill along the Ishinka valley at 9am aprox arriving to the trail head Collon at 12m, then we will have lunch here, after we will aboard the private bus and come back to Huaraz arriving at 2pm aprox. Free afternoon and overnight at Hotel Huaraz.

6 Day. Huaraz – Free day

Free day, passengers will take free day for shopping or making additional tours around Huaraz, overnight at hotel Huaraz.

7 Day. Huaraz – Lima

Passengers will be transferred to the Bus station after the breakfast in the hotel. 4 hours driving in the Andean area, and 4 hours driving in the coast area along the Pacific Ocean offshore. Arriving to Lima in 8 hours. Then passengers will be transferred to the Hotel in lima or to the international Airport.
