Horseback riding by Sacred Valley
This activity is like any other. We will look at the amazing landscapes in the Sacred Valley while following the same routes the Spanish conquerors did.
The horses we will ride were breeded in the same zone so they are strong and reliable.
Routes:
1. Maras town and Salineras (Duration : 4 hours)
From Maras you can see the snowy mountains of the Sacred Valley and Vilcabamba. Maras presents many pre Hispanic, colonial and republican objects and constructions. Noblemen shields are the most outstanding objects worn between centuries XVI and XIX.
Then we will visit the Salineras in Maras. It´s an impressive Salt exploitation mine. This site includes the Qoripujio salt mine, both are exploited by the people from Maras and Pichingoto.
2. Moray - Maras town and Salineras (Duration: 6 hours.)
Moray is an inca age settlement, it presents a high quantity of agricultural constructions such as platforms, waterways and paths that indicate us their function as a experimental agriculture zone. This construction presents 4 groups of concentric platforms slightly ecliptic, so they obtain several levels above the sea that were used to improve the farming.
3. Urubamba town.
Urubamba, displays great alternatives for the tourism of adventure by its natural beauty, is also denominated "The Pearl of Vilcanota" it stands out by his healthful landscape and climate, is on the snow-covered feet of the Chicón and Pumahuanca.
It includes :
· Private touristic transportation (round trip) The bus will stay there until the pickup time.
