AUSANGATE


A magnificent trekking along the High Andes. One of the most spectacular trekking adventures by the Andes. You will have the opportunity to meet native habitants of the heights, above of the 4000 meters high, taking care of his llama and alpaca herds.
They live in a Vilcanota Mountain Range distant area, surrounded by amazing glaciers, colored lakes and relaxing hot springs. You will have good opportunities to see savage vicunas, alpacas, andean geese, ibis, viscachas, torrentinos, ducks , falcons, kestrels and the famous Condor.
Although you will be walking by 3,800 meters hight paths, once you have acclimated the trekking is considered moderated. We will provide you mules and muleteers to carry all the luggage, the guides speak spanish, english and in some cases quechua the Incas language.
Just imagine walking by a path with glacier lagoons, beautiful snow-covered peaks, alpaca herds, among an andean atmosphere. The majority of the area habitants speak quechua and wear colorful ponchos made of alpaca wool.


7 DAYS / 6 NIGTHS


Day 1: CUSCO / TINKI:

We start the trip early from Cusco in private, the trip duration to Tinki town is 6 hours approximately, 3,800 meters height, where our mules and muleteers will be waiting for us. Camping. ( To C )

Day 2: TINKI / UPISPAMPA:

We start the trekking by the Ausangate Glacial surroundings, through pastures and meanders of the heights to finally arrive to Upispampa´s hot springs, where we will camp. From here we will have magnificent snow-covered Ausangate pan views 6, 250 meters high. ( D To C ).

Day 3, 4, 5 and 6: UPISPAMPA / PACCHANTA:

Along these days, we will start the trekking really early, after a delicious breakfast. We will follow a path which will lead us 5100 meters high, and we will camp surrounded by magnificent Vilcanota Mountain Range views and the different snow-covered peaks, with the opportunity to meet quechua natives.
The penultimate day we will arrive to Pacchanta Town, where we will enjoy the relaxing hot springs, camping nearby.

Day 7: TINKI / CUSCO :

Today we walk for a 3 hours to return to Tinki town, where the private will be waiting, to take us back to Cusco. ( D A ).

IT INCLUDES :

- Transfer rountrip.
- All the meals during the program.
- Mules and muleteers to carry the luggage.
- Bilingual guides.
- Cook and assistant.
- A pair of horses in case of emergency.
- Tents for two persons, a kitchen tent, a dinning tent and a bath tent.

NOT INCLUDES :

- National or internationals flights.
- Meals in the visited cities.
- Additional Tours, liquor, drinks, tips, laundry.
