Inquisition Museum
The Inquisition and Congress Museum, functions in the old localities of the National Senate. It created July 26, 1968, has as mission the conservation and diffusion of the cultural patrimony to its charge, standing out the importance and significance of the Congress of the Republic in the national history.
Is one of the main museums of peru, the most concurred one and one of the museums of vanguard on a worldwide basis in which to quality of its services refers. Functioning in one of the oldest and important real estate of Lima, same that is considered as national monument therefore its history dates since the epoch of the foundation of the present Limean capital.

Archiepiscopal Palace
The Archiepiscopal Palace was inaugurated in 1924, work of the Polish architect Ricardo Malachowski. Is a possessor of beautiful balconies carved with skillful care. Being communicated with the Cathedral of Lima through a backyarde of orange trees.
National Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History
Being the oldest state museum of the country, the National Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History of Peru, being constituted in the headquarters of the National System of Museums of the State. Situating its importance in the vast and various cultural patrimony that harbor its rooms of exposition and deposits.
In exposition you can found ceramic, textiles, metals, organic material and líticos related to human remainders conserved of invaluable characteristics with techniques that still surpriseing the experts, they conform the bequest of the pre-hispanic past of Peru. With landmark valuables and bibliographical, photographic, and documentary funds realizes the republican and colonial periods. "Gold of Peru" Museum
In the "Gold of Peru" museum unfolds the work of orífices, along various centuries of history, mainly in preincaico gold, there found exposed decorations of all the cultures like the narigueras penetrated, repoussage, with strips of stone trimmed, with play of watermark, with figures of birds, of men or of monkeys, cloaks, bracelets, earflaps and depilatories of Vicus; lizards, weasels, feline, markets of coca, earrings, belts of Frias; pectoral with zoomorfos motives, plains or repoussage crowns of Chancay; funeral masks, with rays twisted or snakes, of Ica; masks with serrated and open mouths, wristbands, greaves and spatulas to Nazca.

Rafael Larco Herrera Museum
Founded in 1926, the Larco Museum showcases remarkable chronological galleries providing an excellent overview on 3000 years of development of Peruvian pre-Columbian history.
Located in a unique vice-royal mansion of the 18th century built over a 7th century pre-Columbian pyramid, is surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Huallamarca Museum
Previously called Sugar Bread, it was baptized as Huallamarca by Julio C. Tello, the father of the Peruvian archaeology. It occupies an area of 13,000 square meters. Of him, 5,500 belong to the properly this monument, and the rest to the Museum of Place and free areas.
It was a ceremonial center in a pyramidal way. Their use was perhaps restricted to a priestly elite, since the discovered floors present little waste.
It has settled down that the mound has a nucleus or initial building in a staggered way. It forms a series of structures as enclosures, stairways, platforms and ramps that were enlarged and modified continually, by means of the adosamiento of walls and the placement of fillers to form new platforms.
The walls and platforms are built with irregular adobes made by hand. They are placed in horizontal arrays, together with mud, plastered with the same material, and completely colored of yellow. As chronological location is considered that Huallamarca originated in the Early Horizon (200 ac to 200 dc).

Santury Museum (Santa Maria University)
Catholic University Museum is one of the cultural representations in Perú. The museum was created in March 1997, thanks to important archaeology researches of “Santuarios de altura Del Sur Andino” project carry out by Johan Reinhard and José Antonio Chávez.
Santury museum is considered a Scientific Researches Institute. Its purpose is to programme, promote, develop, spread and evaluate scientific research.

Museo de Sitio Puruchuc
The museum is a place that reflects Peruvian culture. It was inaugurated on January 1st, 1961 by Arturo Jimenez Borja. It is located on Valley of Rimac River, in central coast. It was recently remodelled in 2000.
In the room exhibitions, there are archaeology objects and all concerning to Puruchuco characteristics; which will help visitors became familiarized with culture. Inside you can see a great amount of ceramics, textiles and carved objects collections.

Art Museum of Lima
The art museum in Lima has permanent exhibitions of the most representative art collections in Perú, which comes from pre-Columbian epoch to nowadays. Its purpose is to research about collections. In this way, it spreads art and culture.
It is one of the most beautiful architectural representations, surrounded by statues and gardens. It was recently declared historical monument of Perú.

The museum has the purpose to watch over and exhibit ancestors' art and culture, in order to make aware about cultural richness.
It has three exhibition areas: Archaeology, Contemporary Painting and Popular art.
It has coin collections which were mint in XVI century and metal ceramics. The exhibitions rooms are organized as follows:

National Museum Sicán
The museum is situated in Ferreñafe city in central coast of Peru. It was inaugurated in 2001. It shows Lambayeque civilisation in 700 and 1300 (when Lambayeque was under chimú rules), objects like ceremonial knives also called tumí, gold masks, and all concerning these cultures.

National Museum of Peruvian Culture
