Chachapoyas Tourist Week

Like a box of wonderful surprises, capital of the Chachapoyas Amazonas department opens the world to show the significance of its priceless archeological treasures, natural, agricultural, livestock, ethnic, folk and humans. It happens that this department is dominated by the north-eastern Andean foothills and the main tributaries of the Amazon, was hidden in their long history, but because of their active integration into the regional development of northeastern Peru, the expansion of the national road network telecommunications and the sensational discoveries of "lost city", has made it clear that Amazon is an area with great potential for development. And the Marañon river crossing with their stiff Cordillera de los Andes, tenacity, ingenuity and imagination guide the lives of its residents living in the wild and beautiful rivers, mountains, canyons, Pongo and gaps, and the recovery of the monumental architecture of Kuelap, Levanto, Karajia and Molinopampa, vestiges of the great civilization that knew Sachapuya the domain address of the Incas.
