City of Huancayo - Junín

The city of Huancayo is known for her courage of the people huancayno in the war of independence. Huancayo is also considered as "capital of Peru fair", as an eminently commercial city.

At the district level the highest concentration of population is found in the districts of El Tambo, Huancayo and Chilca. The district is less populated Carhuacallanga.

The city of Huancayo on north bordering of Concepción and Chupaca provinces, south with the department of Huancavelica, east of the province of Satipo, on the west by the departments of Lima.

The climate of the city of Huancayo is warm, cold and dry, with temperatures between day and night, and variable in the different months of the year.
In the city of Huancayo is concentrated among the various economic activities which are businesses engaged in the manufacture of dairy products, and care of trout production, handicrafts and knitted, liquor manufacturing, agriculture, livestock and tourism in recent years has increased.

The city of Huancayo is 75% of industrial production in the department of Junin.

LEGENDARY REAL STREET OF THE INCAS

Previously called Camino Real de los Incas between 1490 to 1590 joined to the main towns of Cuzco to Cajamarca iban. Currently meets a number of shops, is the main street of the city, includes an average of 50 blocks keeping his name in 3 metropolitan districts Huancayo, El Tambo and Chilca.

PARK OF THE CONSTITUTION

PARK HUAMANMARCA

CERRITO OF FREEDOM

A one kilometer of Huancayo, at the end of the avenue Giraldez, called "El Mirador", and then from there you can see the panorama of the city of Huancayo. Concha Acústica has an artistic presentation of various kinds, playgrounds, parks, a chapel of beautiful architecture and a zoo run by the city of Huancayo.
